ROCSDispatch is a new offering from SDS that simplifies the tasks of dispatching trains and managing track occupancy. The system handles train movements, switch position awareness, grade crossing outages, Track Car movements, Weather Conditions, Radio Assignments, and Unusual Events. There are versions available for both NORAC and GCOR railroads, and we intend this system to supplement or replace the paper systems that are in use at many small railroads, or provide railroads that are not doing anything right now with an easy to use system to manage their operations. The system is designed to be a cost effective solution for small railroads to keep track of their operations, and future enhancements planned for the system include employee qualification management and crew management functions.
