“I have a car that came in as a load, and it will be leaving as a load.  How do I make sure that the L/E status does not change when I release the car?”

For each car on the Customer Status screen, there is a box in between the inbound and outbound railroads.  If you click on the box, the word YES will appear, and the box will change color to magenta.  If the inbound L/E status for a car is L, the outbound status will be L when the car is released and the box is set to YES.  If the inbound status is E and the box is set to YES the outbound L/E status will be set to L when the car is released.  If the L/E status is L, and the OB box is blank, then the status will change to E when the car is released.  Likewise, if the car has an inbound L/E status of E and the OB box is left blank, the L/E status will remain E when the car is released.
